“Don’t hang out in the NO-ZONE” – a campaign created by the trucking industry to educate motorists about how to safely share the road with trucks and buses. Its goal is to increase awareness of the no- zones- danger areas or blind spots, around commercial vehicles in which cars “disappear from the view of the truck or bus driver and where crashes are more likely to occur. Educating drivers about the No zones will reduce deaths, injuries and property damage from these kinds of crashes.
Highway Watch – created by the trucking industry to increase safety and security on the nation’s interests. With nearly two million truckers on the road during the course of a single day, the trucking industry has an incredible army of “eyes and ears” to assist state police and federal agencies. Drivers recruited into Highway Watch are trained to recognize and report dangerous road conditions, the precise location of accidents and/or suspicious behavior so that the authorities can respond more quickly and properly.
Bargain Boxes is dedicated to Public Safety and Education. The "Good Stuff Trucks Bring It" campaign helps the public think about trucks in a different way. As the vehicles that deliver the good life. It makes trucking relevant by communicating that trucks have stuff they love and want.
Share the Road – this life saving program was created by the trucking industry to reduce the number tragic accidents that occur between trucks and cars, nearly 70% of which are caused by the car – 35% of which occurred inside the trucks blind spot.
